So, this week I worked with a few people who epitomize what the Paper Kings were trying to convey.
We were working on what we, in the industry term a, "Dumpster Fire." That's right. The customer made last minute, substantive, material changes to a requirement and gave us nearly no time to respond. My team had to drop everything, pivot, and prioritize to avoid missing a forthcoming deadline.
But that's the beauty of a team who has the heart of a lion, Servant Leader. They took it in stride, pivoted, and within a day we're back on track.
So, I write this post simply to say - they're out there. Those unicorns who strive under pressure, who "show up" when everyone is ready to "ship out."
And I am blessed to work with them.
